Report on School Health Programme The Department of Community Health Nursing, College of Nursing, AIIMS Raipur, in collaboration with Maharashtra Mandal, , successfully organised a School Health Programme at Hi-Tech Anganwadi, Tatibandh, Raipur with the objective of promoting the health and well- being of under-five children and creating awareness among parents regarding child health. The programme commenced with a comprehensive health assessment of under-five children, which included measurement of height and weight, assessment of nutritional status, general physical examination, and identification of common childhood health problems. Individual health findings were recorded, and parents were advised regarding appropriate follow-up care whenever required. Following the health assessment, an interactive health awareness session was conducted for parents. The session focused on essential topics such as nutrition, personal hygiene, growth and development, immunisation, prevention of common childhood illnesses, and the importance of regular health check-ups. Parents actively participated in the discussion and clarified their concerns with the healthcare team. To promote joyful learning and encourage child participation, fun-filled games and recreational activities were organised for the children. The activities created an engaging environment and strengthened the rapport between the healthcare team, children, and parents. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the management of Maharashtra Mandal, the staff of Hi-Tech Anganwadi, parents, children, faculty members, and nursing students of the College of Nursing, AIIMS Raipur, for their enthusiastic participation and support in making the programme successful.
